We sometimes use Haze or Fog for special events like concerts. However, for either we need to have the fire suppression system turned off and have a very expensive fire watch from our university facilities team.?

HI Kim,

We updated our customer definitions and room rates this year. We don’t charge student groups rental fees. All equipment and custodial is included in our room rental (besides AV for private groups), but folks pay for all set up and technician costs.

I will be following this thread as we find it challenging to support music at events. I don’t hold the expectation that my student technicians will use their private spotify accounts for events. But we are frequently asked to provide background/filler music during a wide range of events.
