Specifically, I’d like to understand what procedures and guidelines are in place for hosting events that involve grilling on your campus, and whether there are any designated areas, equipment requirements, or approval processes we need to follow.
Additionally, how your…

Disability/Accessibility Awareness Month - Building Highlight
I’m working with our Student Accessibility Services office for the month of October. We would like to highlight and bring awareness about our spaces and their services. For example, noting spaces and their sensory areas (game room vs. study rooms), egress and furniture selection, programming, etc. I was thinking this would be…

Diagramming software - a NEW option from 7PointOps??
Hello,
I was going through the threads and just saw this! This is something we would be interested in seeing as well. We use both 7 Point Ops and Social Tables. Having one software would be great!
Thank you,

Podium Vendor for Event Spaces
Depending on your budget Max-R? makes an nearly indestructible lectern on wheels.? It it made from recycled milk jugs,? I ordered one at my previous institution that was a near exact color match to our school colors and included our logo.? If you are interested in purchasing one lectern to last 20+ years I would highly…

Podium Vendor for Event Spaces

Podium Vendor for Event Spaces
Hi Kelly,?
Before you start looking for suggestions I would first figure out a few details. First, are you looking for lectern that you stand at, or are you looking for a podium that you stand on. Sorry if this feels nit-picky, but my previous employer had a theater background and was very specific about this, and I picked up the habit along…

Podium Vendor for Event Spaces
Hello Kelly, At SDSU Associated Students I am also looking to replace our event space podium/lecterns. We have both the lucite and nice wood laminate currently. The lucite is just too much to maintain with student staff hauling and lifting, it holds up poorly. The existing wood laminate from Marshall Furniture is attractive but heavy and… Read more

Podium Vendor for Event Spaces
Hey everyone!
We are looking to purchase some new heavy duty podiums that are sturdy enough to be lifted on and off stage and withhold a lot of moving around. Do any of you have vendors you have used in the past that provide a high quality product that can be used in our union’s event space? We don’t want anything lucite but rather wooden…
