Disability/Accessibility Awareness Month – Building Highlight
I’m working with our Student Accessibility Services office for the month of October. We would like to highlight and bring awareness about our spaces and their services. For example, noting spaces and their sensory areas (game room vs. study rooms), egress and furniture selection, programming, etc. I was thinking this would be displayed throughout the building as “did you know…” or “% of… Campus/Building…” to highlight services/areas of growth for STUN facilities; something both passive and informative.
Q: has anyone done something similar in their campus? Do you have suggestions? I’m open and eager to receive impute from ACUI professionals and students 🙂
