At UML we use Motorola. As far as I know the radios have been here since the building opened (8 years ago) and they still work pretty good. The only issue we are running into now is some of the batteries just don’t hold a charge well, but after 8 years I think that’s fair. The specific Motorola brand we use is DTR 550.
