<p>We are looking to purchase some new heavy duty podiums that are sturdy enough to be lifted on and off stage and withhold a lot of moving around. Do any of you have vendors you have used in the past that provide a high quality product that can be used in our union&#8217;s event space? <p>I wanted to inquire about if you all have your student staff (event staff, game room staff, building staff, office staff, etc.) wear name tags/badges when they are on shift. We have found that our student staff have either lost their name tags or are not wearing them. <p>This is a great question and something our department discussed during the fall semester. Virginia minimum wage prior to July 2021 was $7.25 and then increased to $9.50. We used to pay our staff $9.25 which as a result if the minimum wage increase went up to $9.50.
