    Marketing for the Campus Community,

I am currently volunteering for ACUI with the Denver 2024 Conference Program Team. One of the most impactful aspects of our annual conference is the opportunity for colleagues across ACUI to share learning and contribute to our professional practice by helping provide the educational content for the conference.

I ask you to consider being a volunteer, too, and propose a session within our education program. I am confident that gathering in Denver for our conference will be inspirational and it is undoubtedly going to be a great time together. We are hoping that every delegate will find a?nugget of learning, and there will be an avalanche of ideas and networking to come from our colleagues. By volunteering to present, you will be supporting others to elevate their knowledge and practice, and gain recognition from your peers nationally and internationally for your expertise and experience.

The 2024 Call For Content was launched recently and you will find all the information you need to submit an informative and engaging conference session here: https://www.acui.org/2024. This includes the details of the various formats, suggested engagement levels and a reminder of ACUI’s Core Competencies to enable you to frame your session to be relevant and valuable to the conference attendees.

You may have presented previously and be aware of the process and how worthwhile it is, and even if you’ve never presented at an ACUI Regional or Annual Conference, we hope you’ll make Denver your first. Co-presenting with a colleague from your campus or another, or from a community of practice, is an option and can really enhance the session proposal.?

We welcome all session content that will support the ACUI Core Competencies as well as content that addresses current issues such as:

    • Student employee management or student learning

    • Serving student basic needs?

    • Student involvement in governance or free speech on campus

    • E-sports or innovations in student programming?

    • Planning, future of work and HR Development

If you need more time, or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.? We are also hosting virtual office hours via Zoom for interested submitters in advance of the submission deadline:

    • Wednesday, September 13 from 4-5pm Eastern

To login at any of these times please visit the link below : https://acui-org.zoom.us/j/98224476608?pwd=cnhXSTQzVzk1V3lkbVROT1JSU3dGdz09

The deadline for submission is Wednesday, September 20, 2023.?

    With Gratitude,

    Beth Goad

On Behalf of the 2024 ACUI Annual Conference Program Team
