Your feedback: Support from and Involvement in community
Greetings friends/colleagues!
All Communities of Practice within the association is your gateway for connection and involvement into the profession. This is an opportunity for you to connect meaningfully and exchange dialogue with colleagues from similar and different institutional types on a number of topics specifically tied to each community of practice.
The Leadership & Service Education Community of Practice is committed to the advancement of ideas, creation and dissemination of knowledge & resource-sharing, dialogue and problem-solving of critical issues, training and development of any and all things related to leadership education or experiential education, civic engagement, service learning and/or more within college unions and beyond. It is my hope to encourage you to connect with our community of practice regarding any ideas, questions, concerns or issues you are experiencing and may need support. You are welcomed and encouraged to use the discussion boards to initiate conversation and gather information on an idea, practice, curriculum, etc.
Question 1: How would you like this community of practice to support you? Your work? Any programming, training ideas? Resources? Space for meaningful dialogue, etc.?
It is also my hope that you consider the ways in which you would like to get involved in and contribute to our community of practice. This is completely voluntary, but one that connects you to the heart of the association – its membership – people. I am exploring the idea of getting a team of colleagues (at least one) representing each of the regions who are willing and able to further engage in our community to explore ways to support our collective community membership.
Question 2: What are the gifts that you have that might benefit our community of practice that you are willing and able to share?
