Space Allocation Process

    Hey Deb,

Shot you an email but for the good of everyone else I’ll reply here, too!

We do a yearly allocation process for our student group spaces, we have “14” in total, but that number includes groups we most likely wouldn’t boot or relocate, things like student government, radio station, greek councils, etc. Details on our process are here: https://cub.wsu.edu/osa . It is a short form, basically saying how the group contributes to campus and what they’d use the space for, that then gets reviewed but a sub committee of our advisory board for a recommendation to the full board that gets voted on.

Our resident departments haven’t changed much, but I’d imagine that’d come from the Student Affairs leadership level. Our external vendor spaces we manage and when we have space open up go through an announcement of opportunity process in conjunction with our real estate and business office on campus.?

    Hope that helps,

    Spencer

Hi all, does your internal team allocate space (office or lounge) to other school departments, external vendors or student groups?

If so could you share your policies, processes and procedures?

If you do not manage space allocation for your facility, then who does on your campus?
