Hi,
Would anyone be able to share here or set up a time to discuss best practices and strategies in Union Reserves? My team and I are trying to implement more structure around planning, goals, and use of reserves.?
Initial questions to brainstorm:
How are unions typically structuring reserve goals? EX. is it 6 months of operating expenses? a year? A whole building turn over? Some catastrophic event amount? etc.?
Are there any strategies that are used to build reserves in ways that also support revenue generation as its building. i.e. rather than contributing 100% of revenue surplus, perhaps contributing 90% of revenue surplus attributing 10% to facility upkeep/turnover/enhancement??——————————
