At Ball State University in the Pittenger Student Center, we currently have a hair salon and a Credit Union.? I am interested in attracting additional vendors.? I polled Students/Faculty/Staff and they overwhelmingly indicated that a dry cleaning/laundry service would be something they are interested in.? We are also looking into the concept of a pop-up shop to give rtists and makers a place to sell their wares.

We are currently looking for new vendors to fill several vacant storefronts in our union. We’re considering options such as a hair and nail salon, a cell phone repair shop, and/or a cell phone provider kiosk/store. I’m interested to know if anyone has had success with these types of retailers. What other types of retailers/vendors have been successful in your student unions?
