Hi all!
Hope you’re doing well and enjoying the summer!? IPDS is back this summer and in person here in Bloomington, from July 18-21.? I’m helping plan the content and our planning team has discussed hosting a session that helps new professionals understand general budgeting and finances as it relates to college union/student center operations. You all seem like the people to ask! Would any of you be interested? We can explore virtual or in person options for presenting too!?

I’m definitely interested!
I don’t think I could carry a whole session so if anyone else out there is interested…
I think representing some more voices/ideas/experiences would be great.

Hi Eric and Mara – I wonder if there might be a person in the Graduate and New Professional community who would want to partner on this? I like Eric’s comment about representation. Deanna Cahoon-Draus is a Building Operations Specialist at the University of Wisconsin River Falls and just left the convener position for the community and there is not one yet named. Maybe we could post there to see of there is a co-presenter willing, or we could reach out to Deanna to see if there is anyone who could be recommended? deanna.cahoondraus@uwrf.edu?
