Hey Morgan!

 

We’re currently using (and JUST started using!) Zoho Invoicing (zoho.com).  It’s a completely free service that also offers the option to add credit card processing.  The interface and options seem really nice.  I’m not sure how they offer for free…but I DO see that they have a whole host of other items that AREN’T free…so, it might be a hook for them…but it’s working for us.

 

It does NOT tie into our reservation system (Ad Astra) but that’s not a huge deal for us.  I was the administrator at my last institution (Millikin) for 25Live and I DID start to use FreshBooks…and loved it.  I’m not sure there’s a convincing reason to use anything else…as it actually DOES connect to the system and is pretty-well integrated.  I really saw no downsides and it offers an online portal to customers just like Zoho does now for us.

Hi colleagues,

We are exploring new options for software programs that will generate invoices for the various aspects of our operations (rent, cleaning contracts, event invoices). I’m curious if folks have a software program that they use that they would recommend for generating invoices for their operations. 

For context, we currently use AwareManager to generate invoices and we use 25live as our event scheduling software. We know that 25live has an option to use FreshBooks but have not taken advantage of that yet. If folks are using that, could you share pros/cons for FreshBooks and 25live? What other software programs are folks using for invoicing?
