    Happy Friday everyone!

Earlier this week we wrapped up the Annual Conference in NYC.? For those of you that were able to attend, I’d love to hear some of your highlights and one takeaway you will bring back to campus.? If you attended a session that you loved, consider giving a shout out to the presenter in your reply by using the @ button at the top of the tool bar!?

    Highlights for me were:

    • Hosting the Women’s Leadership Cookies and Coffee Meetup at my favorite cookie place, Schmackarys!? Thank you to everyone who attended for enjoying each others company and getting to know one another during the walk to the cafe.? Picture is below!
    • Hearing from @Neela about how in an ever changing environment, it’s important to advocate for ourselves and highlight how changing processes can make our departments more efficient and effective to serve the entire univeristy.?
    • Learning how @Massiel and @Edna created a more streamlined event process on their campus where everyone supports each other to create a smooth event execution process.
    • Presenting with @Jessi about Generations of Women in the Workplace and the importance of finding your voice (and learning about skibbidi toilet)!?
    • Presenting with @Alison and @Jeremy Dale about the importance of Voluneerting for ACUI (link to apply is here)!?
    • Making connections with so many wonderful people!?

Looking forward to hearing about your experiences!?

    All the joy,

    Kait?

    What a week it was!
For me, presenting with Kaitlyn again (wanna go for the trifecta?), and learning a new method of presentation from Brenda Evans & Geoff Combs that was sooo much more effective and efficient. Dr. Terrell Strayhorn made me THINK (and cry). And refilling my cup with so many dear friends.
I also remembered that I was meant to be a city girl. I will think about that here in my house in Northern Minnesota. LOL
For those who couldn't be there, you were missed. <3

This week truly confirmed that ACUI is my family!? Some highlights for me is always reconnecting with those that I already know, but I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE connecting with new folks and helping them feel welcomed!? I did love the keynotes and realized that Rob is literally me and loved being able to continue the connections!??
