Posted by Chelsea Kimmett on March 25, 2024 at 3:55 pmAs a community college professional, what barriers do you face when engaging with ACUI? What can the Association do to make community college find belonging within ACUI?

Looking at potential lower dues for community colleges not based on inflated FTE due to community ed/non credit students.?

I agree! Out dues have gone up exponentially the last few years. We should take a look to see if paying the membership fee is worth the discount we get on our registration as that is the only benefit we are using.

100% agree Dana, I know that this is a huge barrier for many Community Colleges.? If we are able to have a dues structure that was more attainable we may see more folks come back who have been inactive.??

I agree with the cost of membership.? It is very expensive for our limited budgets.
I also agree that a community college track or more tours of cc’s at the conference would be a great instinctive.?
