    Hello! Syracuse University is looking for an Assistant Director for our Event/Technical Services unit of Student Engagement.? This position handles the day to day operations of our event support team of two full-time coordinators, one graduate assistant (shared), 4 student Leads and 50-70 students including event support and supervisory oversight.? As a team they are responsible for the set up and break down, and venue (ushering) and technical support for our 1,500 seat Goldstein Auditorium, 450 capacity Underground (multi-purpose space), 400 capacity Skybarn, and provide back up support for conference rooms and public space events. Applicants with a working knowledge of theatrical lighting, live sound reinforcement, and video recording/streaming strongly preferred.?

    Develop, manage, and assess departmental unit Event and Technical Services focusing on the delivery and facilitation of technical support services and production for the events and programs in the Schine and Goldstein Student Centers, Skybarn Facility, and other Syracuse University venues that fall under the purview of the Student Experience.On average, this includes 355 events for 450 registered student organizations and all University departments.
