Student Organization Spaces

For those of you who have student organization offices in your student union/centers, how are your student groups accountable for the use of the space? Do they have to sign contracts, agreements?

How do you handle these spaces in the event that a specific student organization is in danger of losing recognition and/or is under a judicial review??

For example, if a student organization was brought before a judicial board (either University or student org board body) for a violation and found responsible, would they lose their office privileges? Would the space be offered to other organizations for use? If a student organization was temporarily in a suspended status, are your groups offered a certain period of time for them to return to “good standing” or no?

    Any insight is appreciated.
