We are in an incredibly fortunate position in that we have a beautiful new space for our ceramics studio. We have hired a Studio Advisor for 15 hrs/week to help keep the studio running and teaching students how to run it. We are struggling with accountability – board members who don’t want to do the work, users who are wasteful and don’t clean up after themselves, etc.? Looking for folks with student-run studios, those not necessarily attached to an academic department or credit, to share some of the things that have worked for them. Policy books/user agreements and dues structures would be especially helpful! Thank you in advance!
