I hope this message finds you well. As we embark on a new year, we have an important update regarding our Communities of Practice (CoP). In 2024, each Community of Practice ( CoP) will be required to have at least one Community of Practice Leader.
According to the CoP bylaws, each community is required to have a Community Leader to remain active. Community Leaders are very important. They serve as the primary point of contact for their respective communities, acting as liaisons between the central office and community members. Each community can have a maximum of two Community Leaders.

Community Leaders play a vital role in sharing funding needs, resources, and assisting with community events, including regional and annual conferences, networking, and building relationships with other CoPs (Communities of Practice).
Attached to this post is a community leader information session, presented through an interactive PowerPoint. This presentation offers in-depth insights into the role and responsibilities of a Community Leader, along with an overview of the application process. The slides are narrated, featuring two insightful interviews with current community leaders. There’s an interactive portion providing valuable information about available community leader openings. Be sure to download, watch, and engage with the presentation to make the most of this opportunity.
