Subject: Building Management Foundations Registration Deadline is September 26

Hi all,

The registration deadlines for our full courses tend to sneak up on people, because it is a week before the course start date to provide time for student enrollment and onboarding before the first module begins. Our final full course of the year is Building Management Foundations, and the registration deadline is September 26. This course is for student building managers and is offered in even numbered years to fill in the gaps between the in-person Building Managers Seminar offered in odd numbered years.

This year, we are putting particular attention toward interpersonal skills, accountability, and taking initiative, as supervisors of building management student staff have identified these as areas of concern recently. If you’ve noticed staff failing to acknowledge guests when they come to the welcome/info desk, missing networking opportunities while walking guests to a location, or failing to report problems or risks before an emergency happens, these are the types of behaviors we hope to transform during this course. Of course, the other important basics will also be covered.
