  Just Exactly What is a Seasoned Professional

  SPAR Community, When we zoom together this Thursday afternoon at 3pm EST, we need to answer one really important question: What do we mean by a seasoned professional? Some have suggested that 15 years with ACUI connections is required. Others feel that 20 years in the profession with at least a few with ACUI involvement makes sense. And still others believe that the desire is more important than the years, the intention of the seasoned person matters. Clearly, we have much to discuss.

  The more I think about this, the more I suspect that we need someone to present a session in Denver that is a kind of Survivor-Style competition to see who makes it to Seasoned Status. It could involve ACUI trivia, a regional mapping and remapping challenge, and maybe even some cooking?!

  While we are working out the kinks of that session idea, perhaps a few of our community will come together to offer other session proposals for Denver. The deadline will have passed (so you really should submit it by Wednesday, 9/20), but if a really great idea comes forward with some energy behind it, Victoria and I will see if we can plead our case for you.
