Wayfinding and Branding your Student Union

Has anyone recently hired a design firm to improve and upgrade way finding and or branding in your Student Union?

We are looking at design proposals to better brand our building with highlighting school traditions and history and to celebrate visually our diversity.

Additionally by having a 5 story building with entrances on the first, second and third floors it is confusing as to where everything is located. We need to improve our signage inside and outside to better orient students and visitors.

Any insight as to what you may have done and the cost for a design in these areas would be most appreciated.

Thanks, Jack Rahmann, Director, Texas State Student Center

We have discussed this very same need over the years, as our facility experiences similar confusion due to entrances on multiple levels. ?Very much looking forward to anyone’s insights and recommendations. ?Thank you in advance.
