  Emergency Contraception Vending Machines

  Washington state will be allocating funds for vending machines to dispense free or affordable emergency contraception and other sexual health products in 2024. My campus is exploring the possibility of putting a vending machine in the student union. This is still a fairly new trend in the nation as far as I can tell, and most of them are located in or managed by the school of pharmacy or health sciences.?

  Does your campus have an emergency contraception machine, and if so:?

  • where is it located?
  • which department is managing the program?
  • what are some operational and logistical concerns?
