Hello Dominic ~

The University at Buffalo uses Rise Vision for most of the digital signs on campus, including our campus dining menus.? This is a web-based system with a lot of capacity.?

I personally have only used Rise Vision or Visix, both are ‘generally’ user-friendly.? I believe UB moved away from Visix due to the inability of emergency messages from University Police to be added.? So I cannot speak to Alertus.

I’m currently in the process of evaluating our digital signage that not only serves our Union, but also the rest of the campus – we are looking to potentially change providers, but are in need of a service that would allow for Override via our Emergency Alert System (Alertus) – looking to see if there’s anyone out there that uses Alertus, and to see what Digital Signage software your building/campus uses.
