All,
Does anyone have a student organization that is managed and financed by the department? If yes, would love to learn further about
- the model it operates.?
- structure of staff and job descriptions?
- the recruiting and hiring process (main question here is: are the officers hired employees?)?
- is the org funded on permanent funds or requested yearly??
To give insight our department of Student Activities has Campus Activities Board (CAB), a student organization funded by student fees. CAB follows a constitution and the officers are hired employees, not nominated. We are researching other institutions that have a student org under a dept supervision and is funded through student fees.?
