Hi Mario,
We’ve been using the 7Point credit card payment page connector with EMS for a couple of years and it has been great. Our campus uses Touchnet for e-commerce and we were able to quickly setup a uPay site within our marketplace. The 7Point connector allows a customizable landing page for each department that you want to include (example here). We have EMS confirmations that link directly to the appropriate pages. The 7point page pops out the payment to the e-commerce vendor, so no CC secure information is actually processed through its site. When a payment is completed, the transaction automatically logs on the EMS reservation. You can use the 7Point page for pre-payments (you have to create a reminder on the EMS reservation for this to work) or payments on invoiced items. The 7Point team was great in making a couple of small adjustments for us as well in the setup.
This helped to streamline our payment processing by directing folks online instead of having to take CC payments via phone or manually logging the payments from our older Touchnet store into EMS. Our accounting team runs invoicing and ageing reports through EMS. If they need any additional details for online payments through the 7Point payment page, they are able to utilize the Touchnet reporting.

Subject: Credit Card Transactions using EMS/7PointOps
Hi Community,
Looking for insight from other Scheduling Offices out there. I’m from the Santos Manuel Student Union at CSU San Bernardino. We have been using Acrruent EMS and 7 Point Ops for our daily sceheduling operations, and want to take the leap into accepting credit cards as a form of payment utilizing EMS and/or 7point ops. Would apprecaite feedback from anyone who currently accepts CC through EMS that can speak on the challenges of swapping over, the “must knows” in order to ensure compliancy with CC laws, and how to best utilize EMS for this process. Thank you all!
Best Wishes,
