We also offer passport services, including the required photo headshots and application processing. This is also by appointment only since it has to be with the staff member who is the official Passport Acceptance Facility person.

We are currently brainstorming ways to bolster the service. What are some ideas you may have for services we could provide through this medium? I recently took over leadership of our print shop (Student Center Graphics, soon to be named Student Life Graphics) and have been doing the same thing. Our shop is in charge of all marketing for our unit (Dean of Students Office, Student Center, student food pantry, programing board) along with being a print shop.

Things we kept:

• Small and large format printing

• Including booklets and binding options

Last year, we bought a?Cricut for departmental use and planned to brainstorm ways to offer Cricut services (stickers, vinyl decals, small-batch iron-on decals for shirts, etc.) to student organizations or university departments. Ultimately, we did not see that idea come to fruition since data indicated we should close our Copy Center, but it seemed like a fun idea to pass along.?

Hi Mic,?

I oversee Temple’s student-run graphic design and print shop. We do a lot of foam board cut-outs for sports games and for people who want them in their dorm rooms etc. We also only hire graphic design students who are extremely talented so we offer a lot of high-level design services such as logo creation, photo restoration, multi-page booklet layout, artistic renderings etc. Lastly, we invested in a large-scale vinyl cutter and heat press for stickers and t-shirts. This has been popular with student orgs and we also sell designs that our students have created (such as Philly sky-line stickers). Hope this helps give you some ideas!?

Hey Mic!  We print LOTS AND LOTS  of stickers and vinyl decals.  Students love a sticker or decal!  We purchase the precut sheets for round paper stickers from Uline.  We order vinyl adhesive material from MacPapers (only offer straight cuts at this time).  Super easy production and easy income.
