This thread is a continuation of the conversation in this webinar on the first amendment. Feel free to continue the conversation here, even if you did not attend the webinar.

Here were the discussion prompts sent out ahead of the program:

• How does your campus interpret the First Amendment as it relates to the college campus?
• How might interpretations be affected by the type of institution (public vs. private, influence of state government, etc.)?
• Below are two articles on the topic that seem to contradict one another. How can campuses best navigate the diversity of viewpoints on this topic?
