    Good Afternoon,?
Does anyone have a good policy regarding brand ambassadors (Example: Amazon Prime, Pentel, Adidas, Alahni, Spectrum)??

These are students that are paid by the company to communicate to the campus about the brand. We are hoping to have a policy to encourage the student to receive professional development/internship experience while also being mindful of the institution sponsorship agreements.?

Also … looking at Student Orgs. that are partnering with brands for fundraising and brands that “Reserve” our free speech spaces.?

    Any insight is greatly appreciated.?

    Thank you!?

I would also be interested in any information that folks have created for Brand Ambassadors.? They are often active student leaders and then want to use resources that are available to student organizations (like rooms, tabling, etc.) and then often want to co-sponsor events with student organizations.? Both areas get complicated for us so would love to hear any best practices folks are currently doing.

    Thanks-
    Laura

      Hi @Laura!
      ?
My name is Laura Bryant and I am the Director of University Relations at Riddle & Bloom. We are a marketing agency focused on the next generation of consumers as well as the exclusive marketing partner to NACA and an associate member of ACUI.

Riddle & Bloom works with Prime Student, HBO, Adidas, as well as several other brands within the college space so I wanted to chime in from this side of the table. We pride ourselves in working with our brand partners and students to provide professional development as well as internship credit when applicable. Additionally, we are very mindful of institution sponsorship agreements (ex: we are working with Dunkin’ right now and are targeting schools with Dunkin’ partnerships and/or not ones with direct competitors). We also build in budget to support university program efforts when we are able to, including fees for tabling and/or sponsorship dollars for event integrations.

We always look to follow university policies and procedures when integrating our brand partners and are happy to setup time to discuss further!

      Thank you,
      Laura

I have worked with Quanta Taylor, Executive Director of Student Involvement, there at Louisville and when he was at Ohio State.
