  Billiards Tournament Interest

  Hello, my name is Leann Sullivan, the Warhawk Alley Program Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Warhawk Alley is a student recreational space located in our Student Union / University Center. It consists of 10 bowling lanes, 8 billiards tables, ping pong, and video games. Students pay a small seg fee to use our space, making it “free” for students. We have seen a large increase in student usage since making the change three years ago.?

  Recently, I have seen a resurgence in billiards play. This is the first time since COVID that we have had a billiards club, with over 20 members attending on a weekly basis. I know there used to be an ACUI Billiards Tournament, but it was discontinued after in June 2020. I am curious if any other institutions would be interested in putting together a few tournaments for competitive opportunities for aspiring billiards players.
