    Hey Everyone,?

A part of our Community is centered around uplifting and acknowledging the many achievements of our various community members. Today, I want to highlight the achievements of two of our COMP community members, who have both successfully defended their dissertations:

Dr. Tari Hunter from California State University, Northridge?and?
Dr. Jazzmyn Ivery-Robinson from the Rochester Institute of Technology

Tari defended her dissertation titled, “Empowering Transitions: A Phenomenological Study of Black Transfer Students from California Community Colleges to California State Universities” and Jazzmyn recently followed with her work titled, “The Metaverse: African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, Latino/Hispanic, and Native American (ALANA) College Students Development of a Sense of Belonging through Co-curricular Programming: An Exploratory Sequential Mixed Methods Approach.

    Congratulations to you both!!

As always, if you or someone has something worth sharing and celebrating – personal or professional, big or small – drop a line in our Community Forum.?
