  From the announcement, here’s just a bit about what Mike has accomplished during his time at Wake Tech: Mike has served at Wake as the Dean of the Care Center, where he leads transformative initiatives to support student retention and well-being. Under his leadership, the Care Center launched and has expanded its reach across multiple campuses, providing vital services such as food security programs, textbook assistance, emergency aid, and mental health support, benefiting over 10,000 students annually. He was an early leader and supporter in the development and implementation of several other key Reach and Rally initiatives, including our Care Teams, our Eagle Start Summer Bridge Program, and the Student Experience Program.

  If you follow Mike on LinkedIn, you know he is active in his local community mentoring and pouring into the next generation. He is also deeply involved in Closing the Gap, working with mentors and the program leads to evolve the program.
