    Hello everyone,

Leadership Raleigh Coach. Closing the Gap Mentor. Academic Advisor. Instructor. ACUI Board President (2018-2019). Dean of Student Support at Wake Technical Community College. Our February 9 Spotlight is Mike Coleman.

With 21 years in the field including the college union, academic affairs, and administration, Mike is a quiet force with tremendous impact. At Wake Tech, Mike oversees student support and retention programs. He partners with faculty to support students with non-academic barriers to connect them with campus or community resources. He also oversees Fostering Bright Futures, a minority male retention program that supports students impacted by the foster care system. Mike’s commitment to student success is enduring as is his support and leadership within ACUI.

Mike, thank you for sharing your gifts with us!

    Be well,
