  Who is Justina Miles?

  Hello everyone,

  For today’s Black History Month spotlight: meet Justina Miles.

  If we didn’t know Justina Miles before the Super Bowl we know who she is now. Ms. Miles is a nursing student at Bowie state, a silver medalist at the Deaflympics 2021 – 2022, and now she’s known as the ASL interpreter who kept pace with Rihanna during the Super Bowl half-time show. Ms. Miles took to the field during the pre-game show and signed the Black National Anthem (performed by Sheryl Lee Ralph, some know her from Abbott Elementary, but Ms. Ralph’s acting career is decades long).
