  2024 ACUI Annual Conference in Denver – Information for Graduate Student and New Professional Attendees

  Hi all!

  We are excited to welcome many of you to the 2024 ACUI Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado! We hope that every attendee finds connection and community throughout the conference.

  Below are a few schedule highlights that may be of interest to you as graduate students and new professionals?.?

  Champions Reception (CSAEd or Doctoral Degree Professionals)
  Monday, March 25 at 7:30 a.m.
  This reception is for people who have received their CSAEd or a doctoral degree. This will be an opportunity to celebrate and recognize achievements and allow for networking. Be sure to RSVP in advance!

  New Professionals/ Graduate Student Lunch Meet-Up
  Monday, March 25 at 11:30 a.m.
  This is an opportunity for new professionals and graduate students to engage with peers attending the conference. We’ll connect the group with details; guests will pay their own expenses. RSVP in advance for this as well.

  How do you Expo? Navigating the Expo as a Conference Attendee
  Monday, March 25, 3?3:30 p.m., Plaza Ballroom A
  Before heading to the Expo, attend an overview provided by experienced conference-goers for navigating the ACUI Expo as a graduate student or new professional attendee.

  You are welcome to attend any of the educational sessions in each block. Below is a suggested list of educational sessions you may find especially pertinent as graduate students and new professionals:

  • Walk It Like You Talk It: Fostering Inclusive Leadership (Monday, March 25 at 8:30 a.m.)
  • New Challenges: Supervising Professional Staff (Monday, March 25 at 9:30 a.m.)
  • Creating a Sustainable Career in Student Affairs (Tuesday, March 26 at 9:30 a.m.)
  • Leadership Parables from a Flawed Student Union Professional: 15 Lessons Learned (Wednesday, March 27 at 9:30 a.m.)
