Mazevo is an alternate product that has a similar look and feel to EMS, with some enhancements. I was reluctant to take on a platform switch, but after seeing the Mazevo demo in the Expo at ACUI this past week, I may be reconsidering!

We made the move from EMS to Mazevo in January 2023. Changes in customer service responsiveness and other challenges began to outweigh our hesitation to make a move. Our configuration in 2019 took several months and the idea of creating that amount of time seemed overwhelming and unrealistic. Our process in January was unbelievably simple and short! Less than two weeks from data conversion to go-live. Training and support was amazing. I am happy to answer any questions about our experience.

Hi Julie -?The switch was very easy for us and we did manual integration of data (which ultimately provided us with practice using the software).? We did it over the summer months and the Mazevo staff was very flexible with us on meeting our go-live deadline.?

The cost was very comparable with EMS – there is a different pricing model (priced by room) but that just caused us to reimagine our current scheduling methods.? However all aspects of the software is included (customer service, online platform, cloud service, etc.).

Our Registrar handles all academic scheduling on our campus with a homegrown system – so that is still separate from our process.? We were able to include Union, Multicultural Center, Campus Recreation and Athletics into our migration to Mazevo.
