I would check with your University to see if there is an Office of Safety or Campus Police that provides training. We work with our Campus Police who runs a program called Run, Hide and Fight which is a comprehensive training on how to respond to an active shooter in the building or even on Campus. Our students are a part of this training every Fall Semester training.

At Southern Miss we work with a few campus entities to provide emergency procedure training to our student staff each fall semester. Our University Police Department provides a training session on general campus safety and active shooter. We also have the safety division of our Physical Plant talk about fire safety in the facility and allow students to demonstrate how to use a fire extinguisher and go through a smoked out building. We also have a session that is specific to our facility and staff response: tornado, hurricane, fire, active shooter, contagious disease, etc. Let me know if you have any questions about these training sessions.

I would also suggest talking with Campus Police. We have Community Response to Active Shooter training which our University Police conduct. The Department of Homeland Security also has Active Shooter preparedness materials(https://www.cisa.gov/active-shooter-preparedness).
