? ? ?At the Lory Student Center at Colorado State University, we charge for most tech equipment unless it is installed in a meeting room (flat screen display).? You can find our tech charges here: https://lsc.colostate.edu/services/event-planning/equipment-rentals/

We also have a labor charge any time that an AV technician is working an event.? We are fortunate to have three career staff AV & Technical Services Coordinators that supervise 15 – 20 student AV technicians.? Since we do charge for most equipment, it is important to us that our clients are receiving quality service and equipment.

Hi Susan,

Our website has these cost breakdowns:?
Event Equipment & Add-Ons (including AV) – broken down by space and charged at different rates depending on the client type
Staffing Rates – also broken down by space and client type

Some event equipment comes standard in spaces like our Ballroom and is included in the reservation rate (i.e. certain size stage with pipe and drape), but anything in addition to that would incur a charge. Please reach out if you have questions about anything you see on the website. Good luck!

A couple of notes: We do not host non-university affiliated events unless operating under the sponsorship of an academic or administrative department.  We have one price point for all users, Registered Student Organizations have the room rental fee waived.  We may support events outside our centers as availability allows or leadership dictates, those events are billed a la carte based on the equipment and labor required.  Any equipment rentals are billed at cost to the sponsor unless we are renting to due to a piece of our gear that may be out for service, in which case we cover that rental.
