I built a custom form in Sharepoint online for our partners in the Office of Student Activities.? ?It does not track inventory to the point of stopping the request from coming through, but I was able to create automatic emails through Power automate to generate an agreement for the requestor to sign.? It will also notify us in Operations when items are checked out and may come back after office hours.? It also can help our staff automatically figure out the charge we may need to assess to a cost center.? It does not track like EMS for our operations equipment, but it works for them.? ? If you have questions, feel free to reach out to me directly.

Subject: software for equipment checkout
We’re new to the gaming checkout world and currently use a qualtrics form that sends an email to a teams channel to mark checkin and checkout of board games we have at our info desk. We keep their ID and ask that they don’t leave the building with the game.
I hope we get to the point where we need something more complex! 🙂

Subject: software for equipment checkout
Hello! We are currently in the process of evaluating software options for equipment checkout. Our union currently uses Cheqroom for video gaming/recreational gaming checkouts. We also use the software for a variety of other resources (charging cables, extension cords, a-frames, etc.). What software are you using for checkouts/inventory management? And what do you like best about it?
Thank you in advance!
