We have mainly been using Kellex and Marquis furniture in our student center, and they have served us well for the past 14 years. With roughly 8-10k people using the facilities daily, we have noticed some wear and tear, primarily on the fabric. However, the lounge and sofa chairs have proven to be very durable. We primarly use these manufacturers due to their comfort and cost-effectiveness. Also, we prefer buying directly from the manufacturer to avoid furniture dealers, as it streamlines the process. The drop-shipped items come in a box, making the unpacking process easy.

I’ve also observed other universities using Transformations furniture, which is another good option. Their selling point is the ease of replacing entire sections (something breaks, or there is a tear in the upholstery), which is a valuable benefit. Keep in mind that upholstery trends tend to change quickly, so choosing timeless color options may need to be strategic should you need to replace a section.??
