  Seeking Best Practices for Custodial Operations

  Hey ACUI Family!

  I’m reaching out to tap into the collective wisdom of this incredible community.

  I’ve been managing my current facility for about two years now and continue to face staffing shortages within both my full-time and student custodial teams. As we work to adapt and keep things running smoothly, I’d love to hear how you approach custodial operations.

  Specifically, I’m looking for insight into:

  1. How you deploy your teams (daily/weekly/monthly priorities)

  2. What responsibilities fall under your full-time staff vs. student staff

  3. Any tools, schedules, or practices that have helped you stay efficient with limited resources

  I know everyone’s setup is different, but any breakdowns, sample task lists, or lessons learned would be incredibly helpful.
