    Good Morning!

I am wondering if anyone has a community rooftop or patio garden as part of their student union.? We have an unused patio space on the 2nd floor of our building that I would love to turn into a community garden.? The hope is to be able to grow herbs/vegetables to give to the food pantry.? If you have something like this, could you direct me to your website or send me any resources you have?

    All the joy,

    Kait

    Hi Kaitlyn,

We have a 4th floor green rooftop space. It has some built in irrigation and flower beds. Feel free to reach out if you need additional info. We also have a community garden in a different location on campus: | University of North Texas (unt.edu).

We have this at Georgetown.? One motivated student is a cornerstone of the project.? It is centrally managed via a club and not individual plots.? ?The space was previously maintained by Facilities.

We have one at NC State. The photo tour linked is almost 6 years old, so I don’t know what the status of the garden is currently. I know they’ve grown mainly herbs and flowers. Good luck!
