    Hello Everyone!

I am currently looking for a portable power solutions that can fit our needs for extra power in spaces that were built with out power in mind for laptops or other devices. In the past, we would run extention cables and power strips (covered of course) to tables to help solve this issue. However, we are trying to prevent any tripping hazards in the walkways of our event spaces and a lot of our rooms are designed with power outlets on the walls and not on the floor. So we are looking for something that can be individual given to those who need it. Something not to big and can be docked in a charging station. I’ve seen the Omnicharge products but I wonder if there are other products out there similar and maybe a little less expensive. Any recommendations or tips are welcomed!

    Hello Roman,

Two things came to mind when I read your post, I’m not sure if either will be helpful.

    1. Our information desk signs out these portable chargers that are powerful enough for a laptop. They aren’t that expensive but they don’t dock at a charging station, they just get plugged in. These are very small, portable, and powerful.
    2. A furniture company recently connected with me about a product called Teknion Untethered. It is portable but much larger, as it plugs into pieces of furniture, like a rolling charging dock. It could still be something people sign out but not as easy as the RavPower power banks I suggested above.

    Hope these are helpful!

    Best,

    Ken Beck
