Hi Dave,
At UMass Lowell, we still utilize Mity Lite for all of our table needs. We currently use a combination of ABS and Madera Pro tables for our spaces.

Hello Dave,

Here at MN State Moorhead, we recently purchased both 6′ tables and 5′ banquet rounds from Mity-Lite within the past 4 years.? We purchased all of them as ABS tables.? We also purchased new racks for the tables to allow for some changes in our storage options and ordered the XpressPort carts for both the banquet rounds and 6′ tables.? The positive part of the carts is that they are very easy to move with the nice oversized wheels.? They are also low to the ground. They are holding up really well.

What we do not like is that the cart we purchased for the 6′ tables does not work exactly as we had hoped.? We are not able to fit as many tables in the cart as advertised and the rounded corners of our tables seem to be pulling the rubber bumpers off the metal.

We like the banquet cart, but decided that stacking the tables face to face is best so the rubber feet to not leave marks on other table tops and we had to swap the aluminum guards out for plastic because the aluminum was cutting up the edges of our tables.

Hi Dave,
We switched to a product line within Southern Aluminum in one of our buildings and they are noticeably more lightweight compared to the standard MityLite table.

We were able to have some of our team see these tables in action around town and also purchased a sample before moving forward. It is a different ‘table feel’ compared to the traditional plastic table.?

We also love our Southern Aluminum tables.  We have the ones called Allulite.  We got the Linenless Swirl and they are holding up really well without linens.  We definitely needed the swirl pattern to hide scratches though.
