    Hello,
We’re looking to upgrade some of our mobile FFE and am curious what you might have in your facility. Please share photos and from where you might have purchased. Below is what we had/have and what I’m looking for:

    • 6′ Round ABS Tables – Needs: Light-weight and either black or dark gray tops in color (not Lifetime’s speckled white w/gray)
      • We originally purchased KI DuraLight round tables and the leg hardware lasted about 4 years.
      • We replaced the KI tables with Mity-Lite ABS Round tables and once in the room, we roll them wherever we need. The factory-installed plastic trim has lasted about 10 years for us and prefer to not add the aluminum trim ring as not all events add linens.?

    • Portable Lecterns – Needs: Light-weight, drink shelf, durable, preferably?black?
      • We currently have old Da-Lite lecterns that worked great, but no drink shelf and only one has functional wheels to transport around the?facility.

    • Portable Staging -?Needs: Light-weight, easy to setup/strike/move, skirting, steps, 16″ tall
      • We currently have 2 StageRight Fold & Roll Risers. The wheels need replaced and they platforms are VERY heavy for some of our smaller (and MUCH older; eh-hem Joe Hayes :-)) team members.
      • We also have 6 sections of Staging Concepts version of the StageRight platforms, but they no longer manufacture them.
      • Seriously considering IntelliStage staging, but looking for pros and cons.

    Thank you and Happy Summer!

    Hey Brian,?

No recommendations really. Suggestion though. With the lecterns make sure they have space for a laptop. That is one of my biggest headaches with the ones we use. They are small and mobile but they don’t really have any room to have a laptop and the cables to run easily.?

    Best,

I’ve been purchasing portable lecterns for the last 16 years.  I have never found a sturdy lightweight version that rolls well.  I’d love to know if anyone has found something that is both sturdy and can take the day to day abuse of a student center.
