Customers and Civility Language

Very similar to other service industries, our Union has seen a large uptick in less than civil language and behaviors from folks that use our meeting and event spaces. It has always been a bit dicey with faculty and outside rentals, but we are seeing it from everyone, including other staff. Unfortunately, most of this is directed toward our student employees. In our trainings, we cover "Finding Your Voice" and balancing good customer service with firmness in policy, however, we would also like to introduce some language in to our event confirmation related to civility in our facility. Does anyone add this kind of language or do anything else?

    Much appreciated,

    Alison?
