This is a slight follow up to a post I was looking for for a tech position…. it looks like we have a little more clarity on what we are exactly looking for:
We are implementing CampusGroups as our “campus engagement platform” and I’m struggling with staffing and finding the time to dig in and really get into the nuts and bolts while still managing the other stuff that we were already short staffed to handle (I know, join the club). We are looking at creating a Business Analyst position within Student Affairs whose primary responsibilities would be all things CG (implementation, administration, training, configuration, etc), but also include EMS (which for better or worse, is also currently me, but currently up and running so it’s not a huge time intensive add on), and other misc technology platforms/integration within the division. We know that there are schools out there where CG is their primary (and in some cases, only) responsibility. I’m wondering if anyone has any positions like that on campus? Or who handles CampusGroups (or other engagement platform) responsibilities on your campus? What other responsibilities do they have? If anyone has a a job description of a similar position, that would be wonderful. Ideally we’d be looking for schools under about 5-6,000 students, so on the smaller side, but we’ll take what we can get. Any information you can share or direction would be greatly appreciated.
