3D Printing

Couldn’t wait for our First Friday to do a little Show ‘n Tell!?

I’ve had a stanchion sitting in our repair room for several months… I had researched the possibility of buying a replacement attachment to no avail. And then I reached out to our terrific IT staff and they fabricated an attachment for me! Saved me from tossing the stanchion and having to buy a new one. #winning #campuspartners??

That is awesome, Susan!  Great example of collaborating with another department and being really creative.  Thank you for sharing this.

    Best,

    Paul

This is awesome! I would have never thought about 3D printing for a stanchion!? We have worked with our IT department and they’ve created clips for us from the 3D printer for our poster hanging strips…it’s so awesome!

Here you go!!? We use these long clip strips for hanging posters for conferences and they only come with a few of the clips.? I couldn’t find where I could just buy the clips separately, so our IT department came in clutch….and they don’t charge me for them either!
