Hey everyone,
Looking for some ideas on emergency action roles.
We are rounding out year 1 of reorganizing our union operations to specify an area that focuses on facility needs and ?an designated area for event suppor. Under facility, we currently have a student role manager, who among other things, is responsible for leading point in times of an emergency. However, now there is conversation about moving this role under events.?
Here’s what I’m curious about: what area in your organization does emergency response planning fall? Who in your organization is responsible for running point in times of an emergency, and is that role a student manager at times or only full time staff? Are there other areas/roles in your organization that are involved in your emergency response??
