  mail/package delivery question for you or your colleagues

  Colleagues,
  ? ? ?While mail and package delivery is currently a challenge overall, my campus is experiencing a particular issue with some smaller apartment housing units for graduate students that are more traditional city walkups with mailboxes in the lobby and where packages can be left.? We’re having trouble both with delivery companies not accessing the lobby as they should to leave the packages, as well as leaving deliveries outside the building on the sidewalk instead.? I know that not everybody here manages mail and package, but if any of you are aware of an innovative way to increase the effectiveness in this area I’d love to hear it.? ?There seem to be a lot of different ways to improve traditional undergraduate mail in student centers or residence halls, but many of those concepts don’t seem to fit this type of housing.
