Thanks Joe,
It seems like PantrySoft integrates with banner for a Single Sign On feature. This might be the best option as they state they are ADA and FERPA Complient –
I wish that students could use their event pass from engage to check in, therefore not needing a different QR or access point. The simpler the better.

Great question Phillip,
I asked the same to our food pantry program director and this is what I got back from her:
There are a few software systems that we have been looking into. I have listed the links to them below. The biggest concern that I have is the security of identifying student data. I am not sure if there is a way to use a check-in/out process that can utilize deidentified data (maybe an individualized barcode, etc). We definitely need to do some more research, as we really need a system in place as soon as possible. Google sheets isn’t really a fantastic solution! Anyhow ? the top three contenders are below, in my order of preference.
PantrySoft ? University Edition
Food Pantry Helper
Food Bank Manager
Looking forward to seeing continued conversation on this post!

Hey all, looking for any information on a software for inventory and/ or pos used for a campus food pantry? Of course no money will be exchanged but want to be able track inventory electronically.
Thanks.
Phillip
